WERE AFTER, A
HEDLEY GOLD BRICK.
The Province Is responsible lor the

Al all events, had things worked wilh

In his other robberies, the trio now

only have made a much larger haul ol

lilted Irom the express car In which it
was snugly ensconced, a pure brick ol
virgin gold, worth probably Irom thirty

Miner's annoyance so tersely expressed
when McQuarrle. the cool headed

The disposal ol the lev letters which
the robbers secured has puuled the detectives who are w.rking on the case,

ol conlederates who were working with
Iht robbers, that hid tht gold brick

as safely spirited away.
