"The text is the same as that of the two volume folio edition which forms part 3 of his Voyage de Humboldt et Bonpland [no.270] but only two of the maps and charts found in the atlas of that edition are here retained": - L.C. Includes the Spanish .exploration of the northwest coast, and a description of the country surrounding Nootka Sound with a six-word vocabulary of the Nootka language and information on the fur trade."-- Strathern, G.
