Description

"Usually attributed to Nathaniel Atcheson on the basis of a note in the Toronto P.L. copy 'by Nathaniel Atcheson'. But it is based on a manuscript in the Royal Commonwealth Library by Duncan McGiIIivray, revised by William McGiIIivray and prob- ably prepared for publication by John Henry. The manuscript was published in the Report of the Canada Archives, 1928, from a photostat copy in the Archives. Wallace, in his Documents relating to the North West Company (no.603), attributed author- ship to Henry.
