Power to the People: Re: Mapping Technology Discourses in Education through Occupy! Borhani, Maya T.
Abstract
This paper addresses technology discourses as they presented themselves at Occupy Vancouver, Fall 2011. Investigating the overlap between what are typically considered technologies in today's digitized world, and older, more hand- and human- based technologies, this paper seeks to re-define what we mean by "technology" and even "education," while documenting some of Occupy Vancouver's distinct creations and social patterns.
