Description

Bang Khun Thian (โรงเจมหาโพธิสัตว์กวนอิม) (菩薩壇) is a three-winged Guanyin (觀音) temple in Bangkok, Thailand. The temple houses both Buddhist and Daoist deities, even though the main altar is dedicated to Guanyin. The following images show the entranceway of Bang Khun Thian temple (菩薩壇) from the perspective of inside the temple courtyard. Image 01 and Image 02 show the gate from the right, and Image 03 shows the gate from the left. Atop of the gate are two mirrored dragons made of tile, and the outside of the gate features metal-detailed lotus flowers in vases. Metadata created and compiled by: Kira Johansen
