Pagoda, Yunju Temple (雲居寺) Liu, Qiuchan; Du, Jingting; Zhang, Haoran; Ma, Mingyue; Xu, Guofu

Description

Located in Yunju Temple 雲居寺, this Stupas was built during the Tang Dynasty 唐 (618-907). The material of this Stupas is the bluestone mined locally in Fangshan 房山. Its shape is simple and solemn. The top of the Stupas is sculpted with lotus flowers and is now damaged. There are three statues of the Buddha carved inside the first level niche of the Stupas. Inscriptions are carved at the back of the Stupas. It is damaged and difficult to identify.
