Description

Stone pagoda on the south platform (nantai shita 南台石塔) of Shijing shan (石經山). The pagoda probably dates back to the Tianbao Era天寶 (742-756) in the Tang dynasty 唐 (618-907). The roof tiles are the Tang style, and the stele on the side record the chief of merit (gonde zhu 功德主), but the name is unknown. The height of the body of the pagoda is 114 cm, and the base of the pagoda is a square, with the length and width of 92 cm. The top of the pagoda is 18 cm high. Both the eave and top are square. The side of the eave is 135 cm, and the side of the top square is 52 cm.
