Description

This niche is located in Beishan Rock Carvings (北山石刻), Fowan (佛灣), Dazu (大足) District, Chongqing. A six-armed bodhisattva is depicted. The figure’s head is lost, and the body is severely eroded. Therefore, its identity is unknown. The figure is seated with crossed legs. Each upper hand holds an auspicious cloud with a round plate.
