Description
This niche is located in Qianfo zhai 千佛寨, Anyue xian 安岳縣, Sichuan sheng 四川省. It depicts seven figures: a central statue (probably a buddha) seated with legs pendant, flanked by two bodhisattvas (or disciples) on either side. The carvings are badly weathered, the statues are missing their heads and arms. In addition, two guardian kings are carved at the entrance of the niche.
