Description

The statue of the Water Moon Gunayin (Ch. Shuiyue Guanyin 水月觀音), also popularly known as Black Bamboo Guanyin (Ch. Zizhu Guanyin 紫竹觀音), is a statue 2.8 meters high located the Guanyin Hall of Pilu cave (Pilu dong 毗盧洞), Anyue xian 安岳縣, Sichuan sheng 四川省. The deity sits in a relaxed posture on a rock throne covered by straw. She wears a beautiful necklace around the body and a crown with an embedded Buddha figure embedded.
