Description

Just beside the niche next to Cave 33 in the southern cliff of Wofo Yuan, is an inscription of a short vernacular scripture that starts as follows: "涅槃囗上寸草不生都囗迷悟". Professor Sueyling Tsai proposed to relate this text to a sort of pagoda tomb inscription (Personal communication, May 27, 2022).
