Description

The guardian depicted at the feet of the reclining buddha in Wofo yuan complex 臥佛院, Anyue xian 安岳縣, Sichuan sheng 四川省 is Nārāyaṇa (Ch. Naluoyna Jingang 那羅延金剛). He is recognisable by the way his mouth is carved: he holds his mouth tightly shut, whereas the other guardian usually shapes his mouth in a round form.
