Jediism is a religion that uses the term 'Jedi' from the Star Wars universe created by George Lucas. Members of the Temple of the Jedi Order refer to themselves as Jedis and base their religion in 'The Force.' The Force is defined as a "a ubiquitous and metaphysical power...the underlying, fundamental nature of the universe," by leadership within the Temple of the Jedi Order. Please note that The Temple of the Jedi Order is NOT affiliated with or worshipping George Lucas and his creations.
