Psychro Cave is located on the southern edge of the Plain of Lasithi in the Dictaean Mountain Range of Crete. It sits at an elevation of 1025m above sea level and was the site of cult activity from the Bronze Age through to the Roman period. According to mythology, the cave was the birthplace of Zeus.
