Feature Article: Motivational interviewing for improving medication adherence and building rapport - Motivational interviewing (MI) is a patient-centred style of counselling used to help patients make healthy changes in their behaviour. The month’s feature article explores MI techniques and uses a patient case to demonstrate what MI looks like in action. Case Study: Management of side effects associated with long-term corticosteroid use in interstitial lung disease - Pharmacists play an important role in the management and monitoring of side effects associated with the long-term use of oral corticosteroids. This month’s case discusses these topics in the setting of a patient with interstitial lung disease.
