Reliefs of the front wall of the Daxiongbao Hall (大雄寶殿) at the Youshun Monastery (Youshun Si 佑順寺) Van Cutsem, Laurent; Luo, Yuqing
Description
On the left and right end of the front wall of the Main Temple (i.e. the Daxiongbao Hall, 大雄寶殿) wall, there are two cartouches respectively, showing four different Tibetan Buddhist deities. The upper left is the Six-arm Mahakala. The upper cartouches are about four times as large as the lower ones, with Tibetan and Mongolian inscriptions at the bottom of the cartouches.
