Description
The dharani pillar (or dhāraṇī pillar) locates at the left side of the interior court in the Guandi Temple (關帝廟) in Chaoyang city (朝陽市), Shuangta district (雙塔區). This pillar is carved with the Uṣṇīṣa Vijaya Dhāraṇī sūtra (Fódǐng zūnshèng tuóluóní jīng 佛頂尊勝陀羅尼經). It is probably from the Tang dynasty (618-907).
