Description	The Peter Wall Institute for Advanced Studies and the UBC School of Music present the world premiere of slippages, an interdisciplinary performance about climate change. Recordings include streaming video of the performance by UBC Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Dr. Jonathan Girard and the video component shown above the Orchestra during its performance on Friday, October 5, 2018. During the event, the UBC Symphony Orchestra improvises a 10-minute performance accompanied and informed by visual artist Deborah Carruther’s visuals – 27 paintings on handmade paper.
