Carrying corrugated sheets to the village Subedi, Prakash

Description

Corrugated sheets are a common building material in post-earthquake reconstruction as they are convenient and easy to use. However, carrying long corrugated galvanised sheets through narrow alleyways in the village can be challenging. Taken during the 1st phase of fieldwork conducted by the research team based at Social Science Baha in Kathmandu, Nepal, as part of the SSHRC Partnership Development Grant, ‘Expertise, Labour and Mobility in Nepal’s Post-Conflict, Post-Disaster Reconstruction’.
