Reconstructed temple and house by the trailside Suji, Manoj

Description

Trailside houses are extensively used as shops and eateries, which can be the only sources of income for their owners. Their quick reconstruction can be the key to recovery as well. Taken during the 1st phase of fieldwork conducted by the research team based at Social Science Baha in Kathmandu, Nepal, as part of the SSHRC Partnership Development Grant, ‘Expertise, Labour and Mobility in Nepal’s Post-Conflict, Post-Disaster Reconstruction’.
