Many parts of the Bhaktapur Durbar Square complex, including the building housing the National Art Museum, are yet to be reconstructed even four years after the 2015 earthquake. Taken during the 3rd phase of fieldwork conducted by the research team based at Social Science Baha in Kathmandu, Nepal, as part of the SSHRC Partnership Development Grant, ‘Expertise, Labour and Mobility in Nepal’s Post-Conflict, Post-Disaster Reconstruction’.
