Damaged buildings supported by wooden beams Subedi, Prakash
Buildings and sections or walls which are damaged but still standing have been propped up by wooden and steel beams, posing potential risks to everyone in the vicinity. Some of these damaged buildings are still occupied. Taken during the 2nd phase of fieldwork conducted by the research team based at Social Science Baha in Kathmandu, Nepal, as part of the SSHRC Partnership Development Grant, ‘Expertise, Labour and Mobility in Nepal’s Post-Conflict, Post-Disaster Reconstruction’.
