Description

This stele in Chinese is located in Dongzhen Temple (東鎮廟) at Mount Yi, Linqu, Shandong province. It dates to 1475, the Ming (明) period. The calligraphy on the stele back was inscribed in 1476, the Ming (明) period. The body of this stele fractured into several parts and only three pieces were left, which were later cobbled togather. The size of the surviving portion of the first fragment is 72cm (H) x 46cm (W) x 18cm (D), the second 64cm (H) x 54cm (W) x 18cm (D), the third 26cm (H) x 24cm (W) x 18cm (D).Further details are provided in the accompanying metadata spreadsheet, "Inscription metadata for Cluster 2.1 (2018): Linqu Xian (China)" under ID DZ-92.
