Description
The Four Lion Stone Pagoda was built in the 9th century during the Unified Silla period. “This pagoda has two low foundation levels upon which sit four lions that hold it up. The Guardians of the Four Directions are faintly carved, one on each of the four sides” (from the official description, Korean Treasure No. 300).
