Description
Relief of the twenty-four eminent monks carved on the front wall of the Dazusheng Cave (大住圣窟). It could be divided into six layers, with two groups including four sitting persons on each layer. There are inscriptions under the images of each person to indicate their identities. The title of this relief is Shizun qushi chuanfa shengsh (世尊去世傳法聖師), the Sagely Master of Transmission in the Age after the World-honored One.
