Description

The foundation of the No. 2 Site of the Walnut Garden, the Buddhist Hall of an imperial Buddhist monastery belonging to the Northern Qi Dynasty. It was unearthed by the Institute of Archaeology of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in 2017. This foundation was located on the axis of the monastery, behind a large-scale couryard of stupa. It was built with rammed earth and paved with two rows of brick on each side.
