The stone stupa with Buddhist figures of the Northern Qi Dynasty (550-577 A.D.) Zhang, Yi
Description
The stone stupa was unearthed from the pit of Beiwu Village (Beiwuzhuang 北吳莊) in Handan, Hebei Province, 2012, and are currently preserved at Yecheng Buddhist Statues Museum (鄴城佛造像博物館). The top of the stupa was decorated with lotus petals. Each of its four sides was placed with a carved buddhas in the center. Performing celestial beings were carved on the base of the stupa.
