Description
The stele of the Amitabha Buddha with two bodhisattvas was unearthed from the pit of Beiwu Village (Beiwuzhuang 北吳莊) in Handan, Hebei Province, in 2012. It is currently preserved at Yecheng Buddhist Statues Museum (鄴城佛造像博物館). This stele was created by a donor for his ancestors and family on February 22nd, the second year of Shangyuan (上元). Although the middle name is hard to be identified, it looks like the Chinese character hong (弘), and the donor's full name could be Zhang (Hong)liang (張(弘)亮).
