Description
The Seated Bodhisattva was unearthed from the pit of Beiwu Village (Beiwuzhuang 北吳莊) in Handan, Hebei Province,in 2012. It was created in the Northern Qi Dynasty, and is currently preserved at Yecheng Buddhist Statues Museum (鄴城佛造像博物館). Although the head and two upper arms were lost, accesories (e.g., a necklace, a jewel-garlands) can still be identified on the the Bodhisattva.
