Description
A section of a stone stele sits next to the front of the Ming Stupa located at Zhulin Temple. Zhulin Temple is located six kilometers southwest of the town of Taihaui in the centre of Wutai Mountain. The temple was founded by eminent monk Fa Zhao durring the Tang Dynasty. Zhulin Temple known for its Ming Dynasty Stupa located to the left of the Manjusri Hall. The stupa is said to house the relics of Sakyamuni (Shijia Mouni 釋迦牟尼). The date of the stele is known. Stele, Chinese language [1211].
