Description

One stone stele located in front of the Hall of Avalokitesvara, located inside Zhenhai Temple. It was built in 1786 and houses a stupa with the relics of Changkya Rolpe Dorje. He was a Qing court Buddhist teacher, said to have overseen the translation of the Tibetan Buddhist Canon into Mongolian and Manchurian. Stele front, Chinese [1350] Stele back, Chinese [1351].
