Program guide to accompany the April 7-10, 2011 music celebration, We are the People Founding Neighbourhood/Founding Community commemorating 125 years of laughter and tears. Held at the Ukrainian Hall. Inspired by Downtown Eastside stories of "struggle and loss, of celebration and perseverance," these songs are born out of a community of caring that struggles with marginalization, offers sanctuary, and resists de-humanizing forces. Artistic Director: Savannah Walling, Executive Director : Terry Hunter.
