NEXUS lead investigator Aleck Ostry and colleague Tasnim Nathoo take a critical look at the history of Canadian breastfeeding policy and practices in their new book published by Wilfred Laurier Press (July 2009). The One Best Way? Breastfeeding History, Politics, and Policy in Canada takes a historical approach to lay out the social, political, cultural, and economic context within which current breastfeeding debates are couched.
