Description

To the south of Matsuo Shrine entrance sits the Shrine's parking lot complete with Kuruma no oharai-sho (車のお祓い所), a shrine where cars are blessed. The parking lot is placed within the Shine grounds at Matsuo where a three story pagoda once sat –a feature of Matsuo’s Singon Buddhist past that has been completely removed from the Shrine’s physical layout.
