Questioning library neutrality Vangeest, Jacob

Description

The concept of the neutral librarian is presented in a great deal of library literature. This poster describes the beginning of a new critique of the hegemonic and universal nature of an ethos of neutrality within librarianship. Through the critique of the neutrality as a universal and hegemonic theory, the library has the opportunity to build a plurality of ethical theories which can be drawn upon.
