Amir Hassanpour, a UBC 3MT Finalist, presents their research examining the various types of bicycles and emerging electric modes of transportation utilizing local bike lanes, as well as the comfort of users with these various modes of transport. Their goal is to help transportation authority’s design and regulate safe bike lanes in Metro Vancouver. Amir Hassanpour is completing their PhD in Civil Engineering under the supervision of Dr. Alex Bigazzi.
