Taylor Wright, a UBC 3MT Finalist, presents their research on the development of antimicrobial fabrics that will limit the spread of diseases in a medical care setting. With the development of a new chemical reaction with a liquid silicone polymer, Wright has found the treated fabrics to be highly effective against bacteria. Taylor Wright is completing their PhD in Chemistry under the supervision of Dr. Michael Wolf.
