Tala Bazzaz, a UBC 3MT Semi-Finalist, presents their research on a technology system that can detect available street parking spots. This system would integrate car cameras, object detection, and navigation maps to show open parking spots along your route. Tala Bazzaz is currently completing their Master of Applied Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering under the supervision of Dr. Panos Nasiopoulos.
