Morgan Alford, a UBC 3MT Semi-Finalist, presents their research on how multiple species of bacteria, or a biofilm, persist in the face of antimicrobial treatment in those with cystic fibrosis. Morgan Alford is completing their PhD in Microbiology and Immunology under the supervision of Dr. Robert E.W. Hancock.
