Tebogo T Leepile, the UBC 3MT Winner, present’s their research of the prevalence of anemia in the San women and children in rural Botswana. They hope their findings can be used to help improve the health and quality of life for the San People. Tebogo T Leepile is completing their PhD in Integrated Studies in Land and Food Systems under the supervision of Dr. Eduardo Jovel and Dr. Crystal Karakochuk.
