Jinelle Panton, a UBC 3MT Semi-Finalist, presents their research on whether honey can be used to treat epithelial damage in asthma patients. Panton will test their research on asthmatic epithelial cells, analyzing their healing process when treated with honey in comparison to cells not treated. Jinelle Panton is completing their PhD in Experimental Medicine under the supervision of Dr. Scott Tebbutt.
