Couplet outside the Hall of Meditative Bliss (Zenetu dou 禪悅堂), in Manpuku-ji Temple (萬福寺), an Ōbaku 黄檗 Zen temple in Uji 宇治, Kyoto prefecture 京都府, Japan. The right couplet (Image 01) and left couplet (Image 02) were written by Mu'an Xingtao (Jp. Mokuan Shōtō) 木庵性瑫 (1611-1684), the second abbot of Manpuku-ji.
