The Hall of Drums (Tsuzumiro 鼓樓), in Manpuku-ji Temple (萬福寺), an Ōbaku 黄檗 Zen temple in Uji 宇治, Kyoto prefecture 京都府, Japan. This hall is part of the complex north to the central axis, next to the Soshido ( 祖師堂), Shrine of Patriarchs. A number of signs and wooden plaques are afixed to the front of the Tsuzumiro (Image 02, Image 03, Image 04, Image 05).
