Description

Located in Qianfo zhai 千佛寨, Anyue xian 安岳縣, Sichuan sheng 四川省. The relief carving inside this niche is supposed to be a statue of the Thousand-armed Avalokitesvara. The middle part of its body is severely damaged. However, given the the many arms, it can be assumed that it was originally a representation of the Thousand-armed Avalokitesvara.
