Description

This is a composition of Dabei gathering with Thousand-armed Avalokiteśvara (Qianshou Guanyin 千手觀音) at the center of niche 21, Yuanjue dong 圓覺洞, Anyue xian 安岳縣, Sichuan sheng 四川省. A poor man and a preta kneel next to the deity in order to receive the nectar dripping from Guanyin's hands [1][2][3][4]. From left to right we find a poor man, a lay attendant, and Vásishtha [5]. From right to left we find a preta, a lay attendant, and Śrī-mahādevī [6].
