Excerpts from the chapter Sagely Practice (Shengxing ping 聖行品) in Mahāparinirvana-Sūtra (Dabanniepan jing 大般涅槃經) carved on the left side of a the hymn the Avatamsaka Sūtra (Huayan jing 華嚴經). It was written in lishu (隶书), an archaic style of Chinese calligraphy.
