An Analysis of the Social and Legal Problems in Transitional China Wang, Shuliang

Abstract

Under the leadership of Xi Jinping, the General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC), China has entered a new stage of development. With the policy of further ‘reform and opening-up’, it is the aim and motivation of the Chinese government to make all Chinese people benefit from the achievement of this policy. However, the deepening reform and the continuous changes in society have also bred various conflicts of interests, which have manifested in a wide range of forms. Using the concept of Transitional Society this paper investigates and addresses the social problems in China to determine better strategies to establish the rule of law in China.
