Students’ Learning Experiences Survey Jones, Francis H. M.

Description

This survey was deployed in 48 undergraduate courses taught by the Department of Earth Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences in fall 2013 and spring 2014 as part of the impact assessment of the Department's 7 year Carl Wieman Science Education Initiative. Results based on 2489 student respondents in these courses (representing 4871 enrolled students) are reported in "Impact Assessment of a Department-wide Science Education Initiative using Students’ Perceptions of Teaching and Learning Experiences" by Francis Jones, in the journal "Assessment & Evaluation in Higher Education", Taylor and Francis, accepted for publication April 2016. [OER Description: This student learning experience assessment item was developed for faculty to support curriculum development. This open educational resource (OER) includes exit surveys.]
