Pre-adjunction transfer of big Ramsey degrees and its happy and sad applications Bartosova, Dana

Description

We show that under mild additional conditions (that hold in the usual setting of Fraisse structures), pre-adjunctions transfer big Ramsey degrees. We apply this to show two instances of non-existence of pre-adjunctions  -- one surprising and one not. We pose a question whether there is a more general notion than pre-adjunction that demonstrates more transfers of small Ramsey degrees. This is a joint work in progress with Lynn Scow.
