Permeability and tortuosity play a crucial role in the fluid transport and viscodynamics of porous/poroelastic media. In this talk, recent results on IRF for permeability and tortuosity, both in the form of Stieltjes functions, will be presented. The application of the results on numerical treatment of the fractional time-derivatives will also be explained. This is joint work with Dr. Chuan Bi (NIH/NIA, USA) and Mr. Jiangming Xie (Chongqing University, China).
